Featured Class:
Photography On The Edges with Tony Israel
July 9 - Aug. 27 Thursday evenings 6-8pm (8 sessions)
Location: NBCA
Tuition: $85 for NBCA members; $105 for non-members
After grounding ourselves in the use of our cameras and the basics of exposure we will take to the streets of North Adams. There, we will photograph motion as shape, shape as motion, use the magic hours of late daylight, and venture into low light situations. Whether photographing the architectural rough and tumble, a majestic steeple, or a studied portrait, we will seek to explore the edges of our frame, the limits of our cameras, and the corners of our minds as we explore the ever interesting layers of the town around us. Digital SLR camera with fully manual, semi manual and auto settings is preferred.
